Mani Monday with Zoya and Anni King!

On Saturday I attended the Anni King Launch at AYK in Stanley Avenue.

There were stunning bags, a Zoya mani station, and healthy food, what is not to love!

Joanna Chen the designer is amazing, and so are her bags. She picked out three nail designs inspired by her bags, which we could choose from.

I love Zoya polishes, they are good quality, 5 free, and they dry super super fast!

Wedgeday with Zoom Footwear

Today's wedge is from Zoom, and I bought it 2-3 years ago. It is super comfy and warm. I have only worn it once, but I think I need to get more use out of it.

I love the distressed leather look, as well as the buckles.

Mani Monday with Essence

Today's Manicure is a sparkly blue/green fine textured polish from Essence, called Sky Fall. This polish is stunning, it is part of Essence's Effect range of polishes, which I have nearly all of! This is four coats, as it did take a while to build up the colour, but three would work too. It dried really fast, and lasted a good 5 days with a top coat.

Fancying Friday and Wedgeday in one!

So, I have been really confused and busy recently. I posted Wedgeday yesterday, even though it was Thursday! Sigh! I blame it on Youth Day on Monday, which threw out my whole week. 

So, today I have this blue wedge which I bought from Legit a while ago. Which I have not worn yet, a year later!

And today I fancy a less busy week!

Mani Monday with Essie and Catrice

Hello to a brand new week!

For today's mani I used Essie Polish in "Vested Interest" and Catrice Crushed Crystal Poilsh in "Oysters and Champagne"

I am loving the Catrice polishes as an accent nail! I had to use three coats, as the polish is quite sheer, but it is stunning! In future I would use a gold or nude base coat.

The Essie polish shows green in all of the photos I took, but it is actually more of a teal/grey. This is two coats, and it applied so well. The Essie website has this to say about Vested Interest: 'Stock up on the classics. this tweedy, woolen cool gray teal nail lacquer has sartorial style all buttoned up.'

Fancying Friday with The Body Shop

Today on my wishlist are some awesome products from The Body Shop. I love The Body Shop, I love their products, and I am obsessed with the Moringa scent, and on any day of the week I use at least one Body Shop product.

My skin is not very happy in this dry winter we are having, so a bit of extra nourishment and care is needed, hence nearly the entire Vitamin E range is in here!

Wedgeday sequins!

Today's wedge is from Zoom, and I love it! 

Who wouldn't love glam sequins on an edgy wedge? I wish the photos captured how stunning this wedge is, but it doesn't.

These are stable and comfy, the only thing is, I am scared I am going to damage it and the sequins will fall off! I have worn it once, and that hasn't happened yet, thank goodness! 

This is an awesome season neutral bootie, and I really should wear more of it.

Minty Mani Monday!

This weekend was freezing in JHB, so this colour is perfect... "Minter Wonderland" by Catrice.

This is two coats, and a top coat. What I love about this blue polish, is it didn't stain my nails. It did however stain my skin a little when I removed it, but nothing major.
