4 in the morning mani!

Happy Monday Ladies

Today on Mani Monday I have two OPI Polishes from the OPI-Gwen Stefani Collection. I bought these from Ebay a while ago, and I am only using them now!

'4 in the morning' is a black satin polish. it has a slight silver shimmer, which is not really visible. It dries semi-matte, and gives a sort of charcoal looking finish. This is two coats, it applies so well, you could even get away with one. This dried super super fast, which was really unexpected. I like the matte finish, although if you are not a fan you can always top coat it.

Love.Angel.Music.Baby (L.A.M.B) is also a satin, but a gold satin, and it is stunning! It dries semi matte, and one coat works because it is just that perfect! It dries quickly, applies smoothly, and is a gold you can wear anytime, anywhere. Once again if you are not a fan of the matte finish (you are crazy), nevertheless, you can apply a top coat.

Mani Monday- Bruton Mews

Since winter is basically upon us, it is time to whip out the winter nail shades.

This forest green polish from Nails Inc called Bruton Mews is right on point. It is a deep deep green glossy polish, this is two coats with no top coat, and you can see the glossiness! It applies smoothly, and two thin coats is all you need. It dries super quickly, and this might be my favourite Nails Inc shade to date.

I paired this with Stars and Stories by Catrice Luxury Lacquers Range. This is a densely packed gold glitter polish, and I love it! Two thin coats is all you need once again.

Products I am loving and my new Samsung S6 Edge!

Hi Ladies

I have been due for an upgrade for a while now, and so when I heard the S6 Edge is launching I preregistered and had mine delivered the day of the launch. I previously had the Samsung Note 2, which was great, great camera, but quite a bit bigger and heavier than the S6 Edge. As far as I know, the only difference between the Edge and the normal S6 is the curved edge. Unfortunately they only come in black and white in SA, sigh. 

Instead of buying a professional camera, buy this phone! It is amazing, seriously, it even has a pro mode, where you can do all those fancy things pro cameras do. I am still getting the hang of it, it is slightly different from the Note. In the bundle that I ordered was a wireless charging plate, which I haven't used yet. But it isn't wireless like you may think. Basically you plug your charger cord into the plate, and then place your phone on top of the plate. And then your phone charges. Unfortunately you cannot be busy on your phone from a distance while it miraculously charges wirelessly. A girl can dream right?

Winter calls for some extra moisture relief, and these products are certainly helping me through.

Creightons Argan Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner, this smells amazing! I would use this just for the smell! There is a body cream and shower gel in this range too if I am not mistaken. I bought mine from Dischem, but at some point this range was at Pick N Pay too.

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter, I love the smell, it reminds me of my Tinkerbell makeup when I was a kid. It is really moisturising, and TBS is definitely the cream of the crop when it comes to body butters. 

Lastly, REN Max Moisture Concentrate. I bought this from Stuttafords a while ago, and it has since been discontinued. Sob! I love it! It is a runny milky liquid and is so moisturising, I use it under my REN V-Cense Night Cream, and wake up with silky soft, plump and moisturised skin. I am hoping REN relaunches this product. If you can get your hands on this, stock up!

Shop My Stash- Bourjois!

So, I didn't post Shoesday yesterday, because I ran out of new shoes... Hahahaha, just kidding! Work was busy, and then we had load shedding, so I decided to give it a skip.

Today on Shop My Stash I have three Bourjois Eye Products! I love buying pretty eye products, but I never quite end up using them, eyeshadow seems like a bit too much of a mission for me. I am more of a liner and mascara only girl. I do on the odd occasion use eyeshadow, but too odd to keep these pretties. I haven't used them, they are all brand new, and will each be sold for R70 on my Blogsale HERE.

Mani Monday- I lilac you alot

Happy Monday Ladies

This stunning polish is from The Rubybox Roadtripping Trio Collection. It is a perfect lilac cream, and I cannot fault it in any way. This is two coats and no top coat. It is opaque, and glossy, and applies so easily. It is a really pretty colour, perfect for spring, even though we are currently entering winter!

The one fault I can find is that the bottles don't have names on, and that is a fault only on branding. I think this one is called I lilac you alot, although I bought two of these trios, and they had two different lilac colours, so I am slightly confused.

Ren Instant Firming Beauty Shot* I love this shot of moisture and plumpness, you can read my full review HERE, definitely worth checking out!

Kandy Kane Flat Top Face Brush, step aside Zoeva, this brush is AMAZING! Affordable and great quality, this is my absolute favourite face brush. No streaks and a flawless finish. Check out the website HERE if you would like one for yourself. I bought mine for only R100!

Revlon HD Lipstick in Marigold*, I love this colour and texture, not to mention the heavenly scent, for swatches and more information read my full review HERE.

Revlon Bronze Glow Highlighting Palette is a really pretty palette, similiar to the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks. I like to swirl my brush around and apply to my face, it can be used as a blush, bronzer or even a highlighter if you use the top brick alone. This is a great multi-tasker, and I love it. I also have the Peach Glow Palette which is too light for me, so it is on my blogsale HERE if you are interested. 

Essence Metal Glam Highlighter in Gold Digger, I really love this product, I find myself reaching for this even more often than my MAC Soft and Gentle! Essence definitely surprises me time and time again!

Gerard Cosmetics BB Plus Illumination, I love this, I mix it with my foundation for a light luminous look, or I use it after foundation to highlight above my cheekbones and on the bridge of my nose. This product is like liquid gold, literally. This was part of my Birthday Giveaway Prize, and is definitely the star of the show!

Shop My Stash- Tarte and Korres

Hi Ladies

Today on Shop My Stash I have two lippies from Tarte and one from Korres.

Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Luster in Buff, this is so moisturising, and makes my lips look so plump. I wish Tarte was available in SA, sigh. Buff is a shimmery nude colour, and smells like peppermint. I really like it, although I don't see myself using it very often, so it will be going to my Blogsale HERE for R180.

Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Stain in Enchanted, I love this colour, texture and just everything, definitely a keeper! It is really moisturising, unlike many other lip stains. It is also long lasting. 

Korres Lip Butter in Quince, a rich lip butter with a tint of pink. I love it! This is really moisturising, and will be perfect for the upcoming winter. I don't think Korres is still available in SA as far as I know, they were available at Edgars, but I think it was discontinued.

Shop My Stash- Highlighters

Today on Shop My Stash I have two highlighting palettes from Revlon, and an Essence highlighter from the Metal Glam Collection.

Revlon Bronze Glow Highlighting Palette (top right) is a really pretty palette, similiar to the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks. I like to swirl my brush around and apply to my face, it can be used as a blush, bronzer or even a highlighter if you use the top brick alone. This is a great multi-tasker, and I love it. 

. Unfortunately Peach Glow is not for me, it does not suit my skin tone. And my new rule is: "If I don't love it, I have to part with it" When I swirl all the colours together it reminds me of my MAC Julia Petite Blush, but that still isn't enough. So, this is going to my Blogsale HERE for R120, it has been used twice. 

Metal Glam Highlighter in Gold Digger is amazing! I love it! I use it with my fan brush, and lightly dust the top of my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose.

Mani Monday- Daredevil

Today I am wearing a stunning deep red glossy polish from Catrice called 'Daredevil', which I paired with LA Girl 'Sands of Time'

I love 'Daredevil' it is so glossy and pigmented, this is two coats with no top coat, but you could even get away with one coat. It is from the Thrilling Me Softly Collection, which was a limited edition available a while back. 

'Sands of Time' is one of my favourite LA Girl polishes, it is a textured sparkly sand polish. I think these are still available at Dischem. You can check out another design I did with this polish HERE.
