Hi Ladies!
And happy spring finally!
My favourites this month were heavily focused on skincare, this winter definitely was not kind! My skin has been dry and flaky, and not pleasant at all, and thank goodness for The Body Shop Vitamin E Range. Vitamin E is great for the skin, especially my dry dehydrated skin.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Sink in Moisture Mask- Love! This mask really helped my dry skin, and what I love most about it is it is so easy to use, and not messy at all. It has a light lotion like consistency, and doesn't dry on the skin leaving that cracked face feeling. The best part, is that you just tissue it off after 10 minutes. This mask definitely gives the convenience of sheet masks a run for their money!
The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Sorbet- This is an extremely light sorbet moisturiser. It has a weird feeling when applied to the skin, but quickly melts into the skin, with a lasting cooling effect. This will be a must for summer, as it also has a bit of a matte finish once absorbed. It feels really light, but still moisturises well. Although I feel the mattifying effect accentuates my dry skin patches at the moment. The moringa scent is heavenly though!
The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum- I have been using this on my dry patches most nights, and I feel as if it has really helped. What I love is that I don't wake up with an oily looking face. I press it into my face, and then massage it, and follow with my night cream.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Lotion- This lotion is quite thick and rich, but just what I need for my skin right now. It has an spf of 15, which is quite measly, but better than nothing, and I always apply an spf 30 product over anyway. It applies well under makeup, even though it is quite rich.
Beauty Treats Contour palette in peach- I did a full review of this
HERE, and I really am loving it! And yes, I did buy a spare for when this one is finished. I love having all three powders in one easy compact, and this will definitely be a must when I travel.
Essence Pigment in black sparrow- I was totally surprised by this one. I found this in the sales bin, and it looked interesting, so I bought it. I love this for a dramatic smokey eye look. The bottle has little holes on the top, so you don't dip your brush into the entire bottle, which is really useful. The colour is stunning, a black grey shimmer that is highly pigmented.
And lastly my NYX cream blush in Glow- I love this. The colour is really pigmented and bright, so you only need a light swipe of your finger. The colour gives you a healthy flushed look, and because this is a cream blush, it is amazing for my dry winter skin right now.
Have a good weekend ladies!
